Wildlife

Wildlife photography demands above all one thing: respect. Respect for the animal, its habitat, and the moment that cannot be staged. I move quietly, wait patiently, and only press the shutter when the moment is right.

In the Alps, I encounter the same animals year after year and get to know them better. The ibex crossing the ridge at dawn. The cows spending a calm summer on the alpine meadow. And sometimes – on travels far to the north – the musk ox, which seems to come from another era.

All wildlife photos are also available as prints. Feel free to get in touch.
